Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Praxam mobile application, website, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), provided by DevXcellence (“DevXcellence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Praxam only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. If you use Praxam on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Educational purpose and independence
Praxam is an independent study aid for project-management exam preparation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (“PMI”). PMP®, PMBOK®, and PMI® are marks of their respective owner and are used only to identify the examinations and frameworks to which the educational material relates.
Praxam does not guarantee exam eligibility, admission, results, certification, employment, or professional outcomes. Exam requirements and source materials may change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with the applicable certification organization.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not impersonate another person, share access in a way that circumvents subscription limits, or create accounts through automated means.
You may delete your Praxam account from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
4. License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, DevXcellence grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Praxam for your own lawful, noncommercial study purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape, systematically extract, publicly display, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create derivative products from the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not bypass security or access controls, disrupt the Service, upload malicious code, misuse another user’s account, or use Praxam to violate law or third-party rights.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be offered through Apple in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions. The price, billing period, trial terms, and included features will be displayed before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple Account settings before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings or through Apple’s subscription-management tools. DevXcellence does not directly process payment-card information. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable policies and procedures.
If you delete your Praxam account while a subscription remains active, Apple may continue billing the subscription until you cancel it through your Apple Account. Praxam provides a Restore Purchases option so eligible purchases and subscriptions can be recognized again on a supported device.
We may change future pricing or features as permitted by law and Apple’s rules. Changes do not alter a completed purchase and will be communicated when required.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Service—including its software, interface, questions, explanations, drills, Project Phoenix scenarios, dialogue, branching content, graphics, branding, compilation, and original content—is owned by DevXcellence or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Any feedback you voluntarily provide may be used by DevXcellence without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on Apple for App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, purchases, and subscriptions; Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and account-related cloud functions; and RevenueCat for subscription verification and entitlement management. Their products and policies are governed by their own terms. DevXcellence is not responsible for third-party services outside its control. Our Privacy Policy explains how these providers process information for Praxam.
These Terms supplement and do not replace or conflict with Apple’s applicable Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple Media Services terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Praxam except as required by law.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or that content will always remain unchanged. We will provide notice when required by applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Praxam at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the Service, or if continued operation is no longer commercially feasible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will survive.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” DevXcellence disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that Praxam will be error-free or that studying with Praxam will result in passing an examination.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevXcellence and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevXcellence’s aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid DevXcellence for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Governing terms and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the state in which DevXcellence is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable consumer law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Praxam, our practices, or applicable law. We will post revised Terms here and update the effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
